Reflection

The process of recording the amount of environments I had entered throughout a day and synthesizing it into a data visualization allowed me to reflect on my daily path and how present I really was in my direct environment. By recording each step I took, it made me conscious of every movement and rhythm. I allowed myself to become engrossed in the so-called mundane, and appreciate it through a new lens. I became aware of myself and my senses, and how I interacted with each environment, as well as how the environment interacted with me. It was refreshing.
